This event is one of the most anticipated races from the Doha 2015 is the final of the men’s 100m T44. 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships is a track and field competition for athletes with a disability, with more than 1,400 athletes from 90 countries set to compete, the Stade du Rhone will host some legendary rivalries played out over 9 days of competition, to contest 214 medal events in the final major international event ahead of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
This is the 7th edition of IPC Athletics World Championships event, since 1994. Russia topped the medals table with a total of 53 medals, including 26 gold @ the last World Championships in Lyon, France, in 2013. Followed by USA with 52 medals and Brazil third in 40. It was the biggest IPC Athletics World Championships to date and a total of 55 world records was set.
