The Golden Horse Awards welcome annual entries from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and other Chinese speaking areas. The nominations and results of the 23 awards are decided by a group of jurors consisting of film professionals; their deliberations take place after they view every single film. Apart from the official awards, there is also an Audience Choice Award and a Fipresci Award.
This year's Golden Horse Awards is chaired by Taiwanese director, screenwriter and producer Chen Kuo-Fu. Chen will present the best feature film award, the night's biggest, with actress-producer Hsu Feng. 'Mountains May Depart' will also compete for 52nd Golden Horse Awards, with seven nominations including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress.
The Golden Horse Awards 2015 will take place @ the National Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Saturday, 21st of November 2015. It will be broadcast live on Taiwan Television.
