They celebrate top sporting performance from 2015 and are the most coveted awards in the international sporting calendar. It is the first time that the awards ceremony will be held in Germany. The winners will be selected by the Laureus World Sports Academy, a tough jury consisting of 55 of the best sports personalities of all time. Leo Messi has been nominated for the Sportsman of the Year Award for the fifth time. The Ballon d’Or winner will be running against athlete Usain Bolt, basketball player Stephen Curry, tennis player Novak Djokovic, race car driver Lewis Hamilton, and golfer Jordan Spieth.
Watch the live streaming awards ceremony will be held this 18th Monday, April 2016 @ the Palais am Funkturm at Berlin’s exhibition centre and will be broadcast worldwide live on television.
