The winner of Miss Nepal 2016 will serve as the brand ambassador of popular drink Fanta and WWF Nepal for one-year term. In addition, she will also receive a sum of Rs. 100,000 as prize for winning the title. The auditions of Miss Nepal were held in Biratnagar, Birgunj, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Pokhara, Butwal & Kathmandu. The reigning Miss Nepal is Evana Manandhar, who represented Nepal at the Miss World 2015 pageant. At the gala finale of Miss Nepal 2016, Evana will pass on her crown and her title to her successor.
