Live from the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines the 16th edition of Miss Earth and staging of the annual Miss Earth pageant 2016 to be held on 29 October 2016. This year 90 lovely ladies from different countries and territories will compete for this year's prestigious and coveted beauty title with the theme - Empowered to make a Change.
The winners of Miss Earth dedicate their year to promote specific projects and often address issues concerning the environment and other global issues, through school tours, tree planting activities, street campaigns, coastal clean ups, speaking engagements, shopping mall tours, media appearances, environmental fair, storytelling programs, eco-fashion shows, and other environmental activities.
Miss Earth 2015 Angelia Ong will crown the winner of this year's beauty pageant at the end of the event. The winner will also serve as the Ambassador for environmental protection campaigns worldwide.
