The 90th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is finally here! The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2016 will airs from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 24 and will be hosted by "Today" stars Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker. The 2016 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade marks the 90th anniversary of the celebrated New York holiday procession. In 1924, the Thanksgiving day event debuted not as a party devoted to turkey day but as a Christmas parade. The event is set for Thursday with a start time of 9 a.m. ET and a run time of approximately three hours.
As per parade tradition, there will be many singers and bands performing at the event.

The Radio City Rockettes will bring their high-flying kicks to the parade and the casts of Broadway shows including "Holiday Inn" will be performing on 34th Street. Central Park is closed for grandstand seating not open to the public, as is the span from 38th Street to Herald Square, while the south side of 34th between Broadway and Seventh Avenue offers only limited views.
The parade will also air live and they’ll have both Miranda Lambert and Sting performing. A live stream of the parade will be available online. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a tradition nearly 100 years old, will draw 3 million people to New York City.
Everyone is so excited to see the returning characters that will be part of this year’s 90th annual parade display! The event will broadcast live in all time zones. Millions of viewers around the world, as well as tourists are expected to line the streets of New York to catch this famous parade, which will include over 8,000 participants this year.
