Philippine Azkals will face China on Wednesday night at Tianhe Stadium in Guangzhou - International Friendly match, marking the 1st time in recent memory that the two countries are facing off. The Pinoy booters are slated to battle the Tajiks in Day 2 of Asian Cup Qualifiers’ Group F action in Dushanbe on June 13.

They are set to confront Asia’s powerhouse China on June 7, according to Philippine Football Federation general secretary Ed Gastanes. The encounter will also serve as a tune-up match for the Azkals before the team goes to Tajikistan. They will be in Tajikistan for the Asian Cup Jordan 2019 Qualifier match. Their clash with Tajikistan is part of the Asian Cup third round qualification match and it is set for June 13 at the Pamir Stadium in Dushanbe.
