FIBA 2019 Basketball World Cup began at 31st Aug.2019 and will feature 32 teams from around the globe. This year is the 18th edition of the FIBA Basketball World Cup and the 1st time it has ever been held in China.
The 16 next best teams at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 will each be granted a place in 1 of the 4 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in 2020, where they will have another chance to qualify for the Olympic Games.
The games will take place in 8 cities -- Beijing, Foshan, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanjing, Shanghai and Guangzhou -- across five provinces.
