Miss Earth is not just your typical beauty pageant as it aims to give a strong emphasis on environmental awareness programs. Organized and launched in 2001 the Miss Philippines Earth Beauty Pageant is a beauty event whose main purpose is to have its candidates and winners actively promote and get involved in the preservation of the environment and the protection of Mother Earth.
The winner of Miss Philippines Earth 2015 will serve as the Ambassador to environmental protection campaigns in the country, and represent the Philippines to one of the biggest international beauty competitions – the MISS EARTH Pageant.
The candidates will participate in a number of pre-pageant activities and preliminary contests during the five weeks leading to the finals, starting with the Resort Wear competition today!
