The ADMU Lady Eagles were defeated in game 1 by the reigning defending champions, the DLSU Lady Spikers, in 4 sets, by scores of 21-25, 29-27, 25-22, 25-20 on Tuesday, May 2 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum. This best-of-3 finals opens a new chapter in the long rivalry of the two schools that have dominated women's volleyball in the past few years.
